Corrossion Resistance and Chemical Resistance Coatings
Chemical resistance is a material’s ability to withstand chemical attack. As a result, a material with high Corrossion Resistance Coatings
is less likely to corrode. Because of their resistance to chemical attack, materials with high chemical resistance are generally regarded as corrosion-resistant materials.
The Corrosion Resistance chemicals are unique in their use and ability to perform. Not only is Ceramic a multi-use product but also it has the ability to reduce your operating costs. With Chemical & Corrosion Resistance, you can ensure that your products stand up to the most demanding conditions.
This coating and lining on pipes, pipe fittings, T joints, elbows, and reducers reduces corrosion by chemicals, with a coating thickness ranging from 0.8 to 3 mm. Agitator impellers have a coating thickness of 0.8 to 1 mm to prevent chemical corrosion. For reaction vessels, tanks, jacketed vessels, and their fittings, a 0.8 to 1 mm coating or lining is applied for corrosion and chemical resistance, such as acids and alkalis. Linings ranging from 1 mm to 3 mm are used on vessels, tanks, agitators, and impales for highly corrosive chemicals such as acids and alkalis.
